Hello ladies!
I figured I'd better get on this tonight since I'm officially on jury duty tomorrow! This week at M4M, we will be discussing chapter 7: "The Home May Be a Man's Castle, But It Is a Mom's Domain." Hmmm, I guess I'd better take that with me to the courthouse tomorrow! Try to read it if you get the opportunity, but please don't skip Mom's group because you haven't read it. We want you there regardless.
Next week, (Feb 18) Tina Mills -- of Options Pregnancy Center and a former M4M member -- will be teaching us how to discuss the birds and the bees with our kids. This has been a much requested topic over the years, but this is the first time we've found a speaker willing to tackle the topic. Tina -- you are very brave! We promise to be good. Okay, that's not likely with this topic, but we'll at least try, right?
Okay, snack patrol... this week (Feb 11) it's Angela's small group and next week (Feb 18) will be Bethany's group.
I look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday!
Karen
Smile Time :)
A second grader came home from school and said to her grandmother, "Grandma, guess what? We learned how to make babies today."
The grandmother more than a little surprised, tried to keep her cool even though she was worried what the child may have been told. "That's interesting," she said, "How do you make babies?"
"It's simple," replied the girl. "You just change 'y' to 'i' and add 'es'."
