Hello ladies!
I hope no one washed away in all the rain we had today!
This Wednesday at M4M we will be taking a trip outside the walls of WCC to Lakeshore Lanes Bowling Alley. Drop your kids off at the nursery and then meet us there. It should be funny watching some of us bowl without bumpers! I'm going to go for an all-time gutter ball record, how about you? Don't be embarrassed if you are not a great bowler. Many of us are not. There will be a few who will be coming only to watch due to health reasons, but I'm hoping no one will choose not to bowl just because they are nervous about their skills. Most of us are in the same boat.
Next Wednesday (Mar. 4), Peggy Hoeker will be joining us. She's a neat lady and I can't wait to hear her speak again. I'm sorry, but I've misplaced the list of which small group is bringing snacks. We will try to figure that out on Wednesday.
See you Wednesday!
Karen

High-powered mosquitoes
When my grandson Billy and I entered our vacation cabin, we kept the lights off until we were inside to keep from attracting pesky insects. Still, a few fireflies followed us in. Noticing them before I did, Billy whispered "It's too late Grandpa, the mosquitoes are coming after us with flashlights."
Stories from the Bus Driver
When I stopped the bus to pick up Chris for preschool, I noticed an older woman hugging him as he left the house. "Is that your grandmother?" I asked. "Yes, “Chris said. "She's come to visit us for Christmas." "How nice," I said. "Where does she live?" "At the airport," Chris replied. "Whenever we want her, we just go out there and get her."
Things having kids teaches you:
Legos will pass through the digestive tract of a four year old.
Duplos will not.
